Unable to find an effective off-the-shelf risk management model, an oil and gas producer sought the help of Outsights to develop a bespoke and practical risk management framework that could be used across all business functions. This allowed for tighter risk measurement and a shared language for risk where numbers alone were not the answer.
Preparing for the Euro
A major UK bank needed to be prepared for the introduction of the European single currency, but this highly controversial issue was difficult to discuss without the debates becoming emotional or personal. The Outsights scenario project allowed for a more measured internal debate about Europe itself and ensured the bank’s preparations were better supported in the run-up to the European decision.

A leading energy company needed its corporate headquarters and executives in the field to understand the business risks of entering a volatile region of the world. Outsights convened a meeting with outside observers of the complex political and economic scene and, following a debate over company's diverse perspectives on the business issues, helped them develop an action plan for long-term investment.
