Understanding the Consumer Mind
Improved decision making and neuromarketing are amongst the most relevant applications of neuroscience to business to 2020. The headline grabbers, however, like mind control and 100% lie-detection, are far less certain. These were the key conclusions from the recent events in the Outsights Brain Science Project.
Neurology Professor Richard Wise and Neurosense Founder Professor Gemma Calvert presented their views on what's most likely to happen in neuroscience and the business applications in the next decade. The Brain Science project is now being developed further to understand its future impact in health, economics and security. For more information please contact Alasdair (alasdair@outsights.co.uk).
The Future of the Built Environment
How will economic conditions shape the built environment of tomorrow? Using Outsights Scenarios for the Global Economy to 2030, Richard O'Brien challenged the BRE Group Annual Conference to think about how major uncertainties like the pace of innovation and the allocation of resources may change the future. The 200 attendees voted on which Scenarios they most expected, and which they were least prepared for - full results here. Outsights regularly provides outside-in perspectives at conferences and events, for more details please contact Bonnie (bonnie@outsights.co.uk).
