Tim Bolderson - Partner
Tim Bolderson is Outsights Co-Founding Partner. He has consulted all over the world to senior decision makers in most sectors including energy, healthcare, finance, media, transportation, food, consumer goods, manufacturing , Government and the Third sector. He has led major Futures projects on subjects as diverse as the Future of Food to the Future of South Africa.
Tim is particularly experienced in helping diverse groups of stakeholders to rethink and resolve complex long-term issues. He works with groups of all sizes – up to several hundred at a time – to help bring new insights about the Future to help shape strategy, and has directed dozens of scenarios and futures projects. He is frequently invited to present and provoke Conferences and Summits with the latest ideas about the Future, drawing on his broad and deep practical experience, and to give Scenario Master Classes in companies and Business Schools.
Prior to setting up Outsights, Tim worked for the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies across several continents. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Center for Strategic International Studies in Washington DC, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts.
Tim has a first class degree in Geography and a Masters Degree (Distinction) from the London School of Economics. A keen trombone player, he lives in North London with his wife and two sons.
