Tadashi Nakamae

Economist and president and founder of Nakamae International Economic Research (NIER). Before establishing NIER, he was chief economist at Daiwa Securities Ltd, working in both the UK and Japan for over 12 years after graduating from the University of Tokyo. He has a regular column in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, and his larger publications include Three Futures For Japan, Asset Inflation and the Yen, The US and Japanese Economies in the 1990s: A Japanese View and Wake Up! Japan (co-authored with Hamish McRae).
